Great, thanks for your reply. Good to hear that Assaf is probably okay in
general.
If I did adopt maintainership of datamash, it would be my first time taking
such a responsibility, and I bet there is a huge learning curve :) Still, I am
willing to give it a shot if no one better qualified comes forward.
I have a reasonable knowledge of C, and pretty strong knowledge of Linux and
Git, so I should be okay to take over development tasks. My knowledge of other
OSes is limited, so anything requiring cross-platform support might be beyond
my abilities.
I'll take your advice and send an email to maintainers today or tomorrow,
rather than wait for a week.
Thanks again, and hopefully datamash can pick up steam again in the near future
