As you might imagine, that doesn't happen for me (and my simple test TeX
file). I assumed it might have something to do with the ngerman style
so added it to my file but still no error.
Please do `M-x toggle-debug-on-error RET' after step 2 and before step 3
above. That should pop up a *Backtrace* buffer telling us where the
error happens.
