Peter,
Joop is probably going to want some more info. Click on Help -> About and
verify your version number. Did you compile the source code yourself or is
this a SuSE package?
If it is not a real bug then I am thinking it is a version problem of some
sort between different libraries. GTK+ has to be v2.4 or newer. Or perhaps
a corrupt xlog tar file.
