A happy new year with prosperity and good health to y'all!

Here is the first release candidate for version 0.8.
Changes compared to the last beta:

* Printing is now done in the background with fork(), no
  more blocking of the gui.
* Fixes a printing bug, which would print the remarks
  field incorrectly.
* Xlog now also compiles on FreeBSD.
* I have checked compilation against gcc-3.2, all is OK.

I intend to release version 0.8 this month somewhere. There should
be no real showstoppers. Please test this release candidate if you can
and report bugs to the mailing list.

If you feel inspired, I could do with updated french, danish and
spanish translations. Anyone with german language skills?
