We indeed don't have an API like curl_multi yet.
A while ago (2 years !?) Christian Grothoff already mentioned this. And it 
sounded like a good and useful idea.
Having gnunet using libwget would be awesome, of course.

Any volunteering for GSOC (or anything else) is highly appreciated and will be 
supported by me and @darnir.
Should we schedule an introductory video chat ? Then send me a suggestion to
