Details:

When having for example an underlined string (\x1F) followed by a green string
(\x03 03), Weechat will drop the underlining as soon as it starts displaying
the colored string.

The attached screenshot compares the behaviour of Weechat (left) with the one
of irssi (right). 

This bug was introduced by version 0.3.5
