Details:

Default option value for bars are same as current value.

    | default_value.................: str
'[time],buffer_number+:+buffer_name+(buffer_nicklist_count),[lag],[hotlist],[buffer_filter],completion,scroll,updnotf'
       
As you can see updnotf isn't actually a standard bar item yet it is listed in
the default view.
