Follow-up Comment #14, bug #23153 (project weechat): I have join/part/quit messages disabled and still experience this same doubling of lines issue time to time. The scrolling too much hypothesis seems possible... Hitting CTRL-L right after I see this problem, refreshes the buffer with the duplicate line removed (the extra line still exists but is blank at this point).
