[Varnamproject-discuss] Problem with fonts

Installed Ibus and successfully got it running. However, I am having problems with the chill letters. Chill letters appear to be larger than other letters. Also, I can't render chill letters in kate. They appear correctly (though a bit oversized) on the console though. I had installed ttf-malayalam-fonts. I tried sublime but Ibus doesn't seem to be working with sublime. Any idea why kate cannot render the chill letters properly?
