I believe a similar process works for Mac OS X, though you find the ID of the 
USB device under Apple menu->About this Mac->More Info.

I'm excited to try this to get the OTA Python script running.  Thanks!

naming-boards-with-udev.html, line 246, currently reads:

background: #ffffff url(//www.blogblog.com/1kt/travel/bg_black_50.png) repeat 
scroll top left;

Make it:

background: #ffffff repeat scroll top left;


Should do the trick!
