I had an issue with freebsd and tramp. It was resolved after I found a bug discussing it and applied the patch there in:I don’t recall exactly what the issue was. I tried to email a +1 to that bug, but the mail bounced. Maybe Idon’t know how to form the email address correctly :).- benps. tramp is awesome! On Mar 6, 2015, at 3:18 AM, Michael Albinus <address@hidden> wrote:_______________________________________________Atanu Ghosh <address@hidden> writes:Hi,
Hi Atanu,I am running emacs 24.4.1 on a Mac Book pro running OS X 10.10.2
accessing a FreeBSD host running 10.0. The (tramp-version) function
returns 2.2.9-24.4.
I am seeing a hang in this function:
(defun tramp-send-command (vec command &optional neveropen nooutput)
Please apply (setq tramp-verbose 10) prior to open a new connection,
better you restart Emacs first. When Tramp hangs, press C-g several times
until you get back control.
There will be a Tramp debug buffer, which you might show us.Atanu.
Best regards, Michael.
