I'm lost here. With ange-ftp, you have opened
"/address@hidden:/var/logs/messages". Then you want to open another
directory, that means after typing "C-x f" you get
"/address@hidden:/var/logs/" in the minibuffer. Typing another "/"
and then TAB would mean expanding "/address@hidden:/var/logs//" to
"/" - at least that's the way ange-ftp behaves for me.
What do I miss in that scenario?
