It wouldn't hurt to put that in the INSTALL doc. Submit a patch to the list
and hopefully Chris can add it to the next release.
Running bootstrap is mentioned on the tpop3d website[1], where it also
explains how to grab the latest CVS version of tpop3d. If you didn't use the
main website, where did you find the steps to download/install the CVS
version?
