I could just test your patch and it seems to fixed that stupid ssl
issue. Congratulation :-)
Sorry for the long time, I am quite busy at the moment. There have been
many problems with setting up a testing environment, too. Even with a
complete diskimage I was unable to reproduce this issue at home, so it
took me a long time to test it.
Anyway, it works!
