[Tinycc-devel] Question about cv2pdb.exe |

Hello!
I understand that implementing a proprietary PDB in TCC seems extremely
cumbersome, but adding an external conversion tool to PDB also doesn't seem
like the best solution. It's better not to depend on a tool that is not in the
repository, isn't it? For example, it would be extremely strange if GCC tried
to use, for example, NASM with some options.
For those who might need a PDB file, Microsoft seems to be able to download and
use this tool. And debuggers like GDB should support DWARF sections inside PE
files.
Again, I don't want to command here. I just haven't received an answer why
there is anarchy here and whether development makes any sense at all if the
master is not updated and the versions are not tagged even with RC.
Sorry, maybe that sounded rude. But is there an authoritative opinion here?
It's just that when my patch got through without a review, and I didn't get a
"beating", it really alarmed me.
Best regards,
Maxim Logaev
