Those who provide packages usually provide statically linked for each supported arch (x86 32bit and 64bit, arm) as deb, rpm, and as tarball for /opt

AFAIK, TeXmacs is well packaged in most known distros, and, home-made
packages are also ready on texmacs.org. So, AFAIK there is no need to
shake up anything in this field.
