I think the problem is that the QInputMethod does not / does capture events it should /should not, and I see no easy solution, other than changing the shortcuts according to user input methods.
A similar problem occurs in the X11 version, although I didn't investigate the reason.

Isolated. That is not a recent bug. It appears when QT is configured to
work with ibus. I have this configuration since I tried chinese
configuration.
I will fill a bug report.
