Hi,
I append two short files. One is a couple of fixes for 1.0.5.3 to compile on
Solaris 9
with gcc 3.4.x, and the other is some very simple changes in two Scheme files to
clarify the distinction between TrueType fonts (Microsoft proprietary) and
Type 1
(publicly-available) fonts. There is sever confusion in TeXmacs on this point,
because
when a user wants, for example, to produce PDF output containing only scalable
fonts,
TeXmacs presents only a "TrueType" choice. The large set of CM fonts available
in
Type 1 form is by no means TrueType. There are also EC variants in Type 1 form.
