Hi,

I received the following bug report which I cannot reproduce. From
a quick look at the texmacs code I cannot see how this error message
may be produced. Does anyone have an idea what may be going on
here?

-Ralf.

Package: texmacs
Version: 1.0.1.9-1
Severity: important

After a fresh install, texmacs does not start for me. I always get
this error:

Welcome to TeXmacs 1.0.1.9

Since this seems to be the first time you run this
version of TeXmacs, I will first analyze your system
in order to set up some TeX paths in the correct way.
This may take some seconds; the result can be found in

I will now start up the editor

Purged tetex-* and texmacs, reinstalled (thought I may have something
wrong with me tetex installation) - didn't work.
