Hi Gavin,

I don't try to track every gnulib update in texinfo -- that would be a
ton of needless churn.  So, when you actually want to do something with
gnulib, the best approach (I've found) is to first bring the existing
modules up to date with gnulib-tool --add-import (with no module list),
run make check to see if anything got terribly broken, then commit that.
Then do the add of the new module, or whatever.

Give that a try?  I haven't checked in a while how much gnulib wants to
update, if anything new goes wrong, etc.
