    listoffloats entries for now.  Do you want the same warnings as in
    menus?

The problematic constructs are just as problematic in indexes, right?
An index entry is a menu item.  Unless we're talking about different
things.

It is index entries that people complained about most vociferously in
the past.  E.g., if one is documenting cplusplus::functions, using that
natural/correct name is the only reasonable way to index them, and it
could easily be happening automatically, e.g., in an @ftable.
