Well, it's "right" in that it follows Unicode.
(Unicode is, IMHO, utterly wrong in this regard.  But obviously we're
not going to go there.)

I'm fine with whatever behavior you want for the Unicode spaces.  Please
just hack something into the documentation so I can tweak it after.
