Cool. I have to admit I tried yesterday again and kept running into pbs. i'm not a linux power user and i might need more detailed guidance at one point.

Im really want to get down to business, ie the python wallet!!!

Currently the only GNUnet version compatible with the mint is the developpment one. If you're interested I have a basic PKGBUILD for both the git version of the Mint and the svn of GNUnet.
