Thanks for your reply, Chris.

My question would be whether it would be possible to embed a FLV in a
SWF generated by swfc?

Converting it into an SWF file is might not be a fix when many videos
are embedded in the same file,  since all videos in the SWF file should
have the same frame rate, which is not always easy.
