[Swftools-common] Ligatures in source PDF (pdf2swf)

Hi everyone,

 

we have a source-pdf which contains ligatures (a single character for ff, fi or fl). The problem is, that once this text is selected via textSnapshot, only the i  of and fi survives. So I wonder if it is possible to convert ligatures to 2 real characters within pdf2swf.

 

We also encounter the problem of wrong text-heights when selecting text in the swf. That bug is reported already (afaik). As we use swftools intensively, we’d like to “sponsor” this feature/fix, meaning we’d make a donation (probably about 500 EUR).
