It's the image- it's compressed differently in the PDF file
than it is in the SWF file.
Try playing around with the "-j" option.
E.g. by using
pdf2swf -j 20 0.pdf
the swf file is only 3k on my machine.
Oh, and also use a recent version (the .rar snapshot; extract it
to where you previously installed 0.6.3)- there have been some
optimizations in the image handling lately.
