That's not necessary provided you update the javaswarm and javacswarm
scripts with the right paths.  If you don't know what the right
paths are, rebuild it...

To run JDK under GDB with profiling, you'll probably have to do some
magic like this:
 
 handle SIGUSR1 nostop noprint

Or just use a sourceware JVM like Kaffe that can be directly debugged.
Or maybe you are using Swing and you find it slow but you can't use Kaffe?
