I just did a build on the OSF1 V4.0 system at the University of Kansas.

There's nothing unusual about my build Tcl/Tk scripts.  What is strange 
on this system is that with on this system GCC's Objective C isn't set up
with the right C macros.  I added them like so:

CC='gcc -D__LANGUAGE_C__ -D__LANGUAGE_C -DLANGUAGE_C' ./configure
