O.K. guys, good joke!
Just installed swarm-1.2 ... my first archive install since before
v1.0. It didn't go too badly although I had to install BLT8.0-unoff
on my RedHat5.0 which entailed installing the patched tcl/tk. However,
PJ's installation notes in the FAQ were a great help - thanks Paul.
Note: BLT8.0-unoff suggests it works with tcl/tk higher than
8.0p2. However, it *doesn't* work with tcl/tk8.1a2. At least not
without surgery, I guess.
Note2: The ./configure --prefix= should be used with care. I suppose I
should have checked the Makefile but it installs bin, lib, and include
directories off the 'prefix' rather than using ${prefix}/swarm-1.2/ as
one might expect.
Anyway, heatbugs/market worked O.K. BUT when I ran my application I
was in for a surprise. All of my positive doubles became NEGATIVE!
When I point SWARMHOME to v1.1 normality returns.
To tired to delve into this tonight but perhaps someone has come
across a similar problem.
Cheers, Steve.
