I saw this announcement and wondered if anyone had considered using
it to record a swarm session?? The site is

Of course, there is always a chance it might not work :)

A free recorder replayer for X-Windows distributed graphic system
Authors: Marc Vertes, previous work from Oliver Jones (xscript) and James
Peterson (xscope).
Features:
toolkit independant (works at Xlib level). Should work with any GUI running
on X.
sits between clients and server, transparent both to the server and the
client.. can be located anywhere
non intrusive, can automate any X-windows application (no recompilation
needed)
recorded file in ASCII format -> human readable/editable.
can be used as an X protocol analyser (xscope)
tested in bi-screen configuration
replay speed at user convenience (not tested)
in conjonction with an emulator (wine, wabi, sunsoft, executor, ...) can
record and replay for other platforms (mac, MS Windows). Not yet tested.
