Hi,
Just upgraded to RedHat 5.0 and Swarm-1.0.5 and hit the same
problem. The linux binary built with gcc-2.8.0 but the RedHat version
(Walrus Creek, at least) ships with 2.7.2.3. Redhat 5.0 comes with
tcl/tk-8.0 which are not supported by blt-2.3 and I'm not sure whether
the 2.7.2.1 build of swarm will work.
Least awkward solution:
I got upgrades for gcc-2.8.0 and gcc-objc-2.8.0 (and g++ as well for
installing other software - remember to bring down the libg++.2.8.0
package as well). I got them from www.walrus.org. Install with glint
and swarm-1.0.5 works like a dream.
Hope this helps
Steve
