The Call for Abstracts and Papers for the 1998 Workshop on
Computational and Mathematical Organization Theory to be held in
Montreal Canada, Apr 25-26.
The goal of the CMOT Workshops is both singular and simple: To bring
together a group of researchers from a diversity of perspectives, all
addressing issues arising out of complex, multi-agent systems --
organizations.
A typical workshop would include representatives from a variety of
disciplines, such as organizational behaviorists, sociologists, computer
scientists, mathematicians, logicians, philosophers, psychologists,
economists, and engineers. A subset of the participants present papers
for discussion for all participants.
Graduate students are encouraged to participate and discuss their work.
The subsequent collaboration, cooperation, communication, and research
among Workshop alumni has been quite encouraging.
ABSTRACTS (for presentations) can be submitted by: March 1, 1998
PAPERS (for special issue of Computational and Mathematical Organization
Theory) should be ready by: May 20, 1998 (shortly after the workshop)
