What Micah said. The ideas list can always be modified after March 9th
and before some deadline (like there is no point in adding ideas to the
list 1 day before the student proposals deadline).

Although, I'd like to point out that Package A falling out of the GNU
umbrella makes the umbrella weaker, meaning we might have less good
ideas and be less likely to make it to the program this year.

So, don't do it unless you have a good reason to fall out of the
umbrella and think you have a good chance to make it. Anyway, it is
always the package's decision.
