tem jeito de interceptar o Ctrl-C (SIGINT) com o trap do bash...
tipo, vc poe a seguinte linha no seu script:
trap "ls /" SIGINT
se o usuário der um Ctrl-C, ele vai dar um ls na raiz...
té mais...
