Hi Michael,

Are you referring to "hard scrolling" ie. Scrolling the actual terminal window? You might want to scroll within screen by using ^a ESC, then scroll, ESC to return to normal view.

I was wondering, is there some way to stop this such that the hard status line always stuck at the bottom of the window regardless of the position of the scroll bar?  I couldn’t find anything to do this.  I have a feeling that this might need to be modified in PuTTY itself.

 

I’d just like to keep the hard status on the screen all the time.  I want it to be independent of the scroller.
