That message is issued when CheckPid() fails; CheckPid() mostly just
tries to send a signal to the backgrounded SCREEN session. Maybe
permissions for signalling processes works a bit differently for AIX
than for other systems? Anyway, if you can get a debug session going,
set a breakpoint on CheckPid to see what's going on.
