Copy-scrollback mode -- VIsual feedback in window caption? |

Good day all,
I would like to add some visual feedback for whether a window is in
copy/scrollback mode or not, perhaps by showing a different colour in
the window caption. Some other visual feedback would work too. But the
temporary message is not enough since it is only temporary.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about to achieve this?
(Perhaps the window could create a temp-file whenever it enters
copy-scrollback mode and erase the temp-file whenever it exits, and a
backtick command could be used to check that temp-file .. but this
seems clunky..)
Any hints much appreciated!
Best Regards
