merging multiple screens into one?

first of all, thanks for screen. it is truly awesome and jeff covey is
right when saying 'screen has long won my vote for "Most Undercelebrated
Unix Tool"' [1]

now maybe i have a suggestion for a feature in future versions of screen:
i got a box with multiple screens running, each with only one
screen/prog. asked in freenode/#screen if i could get them all into one
screen without having to restart them and got the answer "nope".

i think this would be an awesome add-on to this fantastic program.
