quitting irssi crashed screen with an interesting error :-)

Hi

I very rarely /quit irssi, as it runs happily inside screen for months
and months but tonight I shut it down and screen crashed with it.

I used the normal irssi /quit command and it left me with an odd colored
pattern on my urxvt terminal and an error message about dungeons :-)

This is a debug error from attacher.c What concerns me is why it crashed
and I would like to know what steps I can take to track it down because
I had emacs session running and lost a few hours work :-\ (my fault for
typing and not saving) 

The computer is Debian stable, screen Version: 4.0.2-4.1, 
irssi Version: 0.8.9-3 

Is it possible irssi had nothing to do with it?
