Details:

If I for example "bind c info" or "bind ' ' info", pressing C-a c or C-a Space
very quickly still yields the default command for that binding instead of the
configured one.

Depending on the user's typing speed the failure rate (i.e. yielding the
default action instead of the configured action) ranges from ca. 10% (me) and
close to 100% (the guy who originally reported this in Debian :-), so you
really need to type fast to reproduce this behaviour. ;-)

Original report against Debian's screen package:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=652990

The Debian bug has been reported against 4.0.3, but I could reproduce this bug
with a (debianized) version of the current git HEAD, so I'm reporting it
against that version.
