Hi,
thanks for your response James. My apologies for not being more specific. The
computers are running modified Mandrake 9.1 on x86 architecture.
I would love to provide some help to the SCIM project, but I speak only one
language and probably wouldn't be too useful! With the current directions
taken by SCIM, will such dynamic switching of input method be possible?
Also, are there any plans to integrate SCIM with KDE and GNOME? It would be
excellent if switching locale (in KDE for instance, which is done by clicking
a flag icon in the KDE panel system tray) could automatically activate the
appropriate input method.
I know almost nothing about internationalisation and input methods, so please
forgive my ignorance of the technical issues.
