I believe the root of misunderstanding is the description of this list on the
Savannah title page:

"savannah-users: discussion of savannah-announce and any user-oriented
topic".

Hence, we have a lot of irrelevant traffic on the list. It should be noted
explicitly that savannah-users is for *Savannah-oriented* topics only.
