Follow-up Comment #10, task #15775 (project administration):

I believe you can download a tarball for any commit via cgit interface, can't
you?

Even when there are non-compliant releases in the download area, my
understanding is that Savannah suggests releasing a new tarball with fixes and
maintaining the compliance in the future.
