== Description: ==
This project aims to provide free software tools and corresponding
documentation that will help to setup and run a "Distributed OpenPGP
Timestamping Service" (DOTS) as a web application or background service
similar to RFC 3161, i.e., a service that creates so-called trusted timestamps
on
detached OpenPGP signatures of a file in a distributed way not relying on one
central trusted party (TSA).
It will NOT use blockchain technology. As underlying signature framework the
tools will make use of the Distributed Privacy Guard which already contains
basic functions for distributed key generation and collective signing:
