Guile TD aims to be a traditional 2D tower defense game, written in Guile
Scheme. In a tower defense game, the goal is to build structures on a field
which try to destroy enemy units before they travel across the field. Guile TD
is intended to fulfill a perceived need for a simple 2D tower defense game for
the purist GNU/Linux desktop, which has a scarcity of tower defense games, and
often does not have 3D acceleration readily available.
