==== Description: ====
Web Video Transcoder is a cross-platform tool that uses FFmpeg to convert
videos to open formats (WebM and Ogg).
It's a Java (swing) front-end to the ffmpeg executable.
Previously, I used (and recommended) the firefox plugin "firefogg", but this
one will soon not be maintained any more.
Without being as complete as firefogg, Web Video Transcoder wants to be an
alternative to the latter to convert videos to open formats.
I have developed Web Video Transcoder to help those who do not know the
command line and therefore can not use ffmpeg directly.
It is particularly simple, with no complicated settings.
==== Other Software Required: ====

GNU General Public License, version 2, with the Classpath Exception

parts and optimizations that are covered by the GNU General Public
License (GPL) version 2 or later. If those parts get used the GPL
applies to all of FFmpeg.
