==== Description: ====
MindExMachina Desktop is a program that helps its users to manage their
information and tasks in a trusted and secure place on their desktop computer.
A major feature will be the Getting-Things-Done manager, calendaring, time
tracking, journaling and note-taking.

It is implemented in the Java programming language and utilizes the NetBeans
platform which is released under GPL.

MindExMachina Desktop is part of the MindExMachina-System. The ultimative goal
is to have an online hub that is used to synchronize the data between desktop
and mobile clients. While this architecture expects to have a central instance
on the internet, the transferred data is strongly encrypted using per device
asymetic encryption of one-time-passwords.

Because it is likely, that code from the desktop application will be reused in
the more cloudy parts of MindExMachina later on, I want to distribute all
components under AGPL rather than GPL.

At the moment I work on my own but I would love to have others to join me in
my effort to create a viable free alternative to stuff like Evernote,
OmniFocus, Google Calendar, ...

==== Other Software Required: ====
Netbeans Platform + + Dual CDDL/GPL
