Follow-up Comment #3:
Hello Andreas,
Here are few minor items that would need to changed in order to comply with
the GNU Savannah hosting requirements
( see
https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php
http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/HowToGetYourProjectApprovedQuickly/ )
1. Copyright statement:
The file po/sciteproj.pot has a stub copyright statement that needs to be
updated.
The file po/Makefile is missing a copyright statement.
2. License:
The image files in 'graphics' do not have a copyright statement or a license
(and it's uncommon to add one inside such files).
Please mention in the README what is the license and copyright of these
files.
3. Misusing 'Linux' term
Few source files use the term "linux" when the actua mean "GNU/Linux system".
See details here:
https://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html#Linux
https://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html
===
src/file_utils.c:396: // On linux check if first character is '/', and on
windows check for something
src/scite_utils.c:2: * scite_utils_linux.c - Code for working with Scite
(Linux version)
src/scite_utils.c:844: * currently doesn't do anything on
Linux
src/scite_utils.h:2: * scite_utils_linux.h - Code for working with Scite
(Linux version)
===
Please, let us know when these are amneded and we could continue with the
evaluation.
Regards,
- Assaf
