* License: GNU General Public License v3 or later (Gibbon contains libgsgf, a
library used for parsing and writing SGF (Smart Game Format) files.  The
format is used by GNU backgammon.  Libgsgf is licensed under the LGPL and will
eventually be released as an independent package.)

Gibbon is a client program for playing backgammon online on FIBS (First
Internet Backgammmon Server).  It uses the Gimp Toolkit (Gtk) and is written
in C.

The project homepage is currently http://gibbon.guido-flohr.net/. Code metrics
etc. are available at https://www.ohloh.net/p/gibbon2.

Gibbon still has a lot of missing features but can be used already for playing
and chatting with other players on FIBS.

It is the only open-source client for FIBS under active development.
