==== Description: ====
GNU Dico is a flexible modular implementation of DICT server (RFC 2229). In
contrast to another implementations, it does not depend on particular database
format, instead it handles database accesses using loadable modules.
Several database modules are shipped with the package. Existing API allows to
write new modules in C, Guile or Python.
The package also includes a console client program, that can be used to query
remote dictionary servers.
==== Other Software Required: ====
All dependencies are optional:
Guile - GPLv2+ - http://www.gnu.org/software/guile/
Python - Python Software Foundation License - http://www.python.org
Gzip - GPLv2+ - http://www.gzip.org
